Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner at Advanced Foot & Ankle Specialists, PA in Jupiter, FL. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests. The Nurse Practitioner will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, educate patients on managing foot and ankle conditions, and ensure proper follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments and medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams
• Organizational skills, detail-oriented and the ability to maintain accurate medical records
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
• Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field
• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in treating foot and ankle conditions is a plus
• Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and best practices
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions regarding patient care
