The Experience Design Studio at Arrowstreet is searching for a talented and motivated designer to join our team. This is an on-site position, and candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of our Boston office. Successful candidates will work on a variety of projects, presentations, and firm-wide marketing collateral.
Responsibilities Participate in the design and development of environmental graphic design projects
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Work collaboratively on projects of all scales, types, and project sectors
Develop creative concepts and detailed design documents of those concepts
Participate in presentations and client meetings
Create clear and compelling diagrams, infographics, maps, illustrations, signage, and other materials for proposals, interviews, and projects
Design and develop digital graphics for social media and email marketing
Assist in the design and development of marketing materials including print and digital presentations, proposals, and firm-wide collateral
Be curious; ask questions and research unknowns
Be self-motivated with the initiative to deliver exceptional work
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, environmental design, or related discipline
4-8 years of experiential / environmental, graphic design experience (wayfinding signage, environmental branding, etc)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
A strong design sensibility with attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to look at design broadly and with an attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Possess basic understanding of materials and fabrication techniques
Familiarity with ADA and the approvals process
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Takes initiative and follows through
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, animation, video editing software, HTML, and CSS is a plus
