Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead and oversee our network operations. The Network Operations Manager will be responsible for managing enterprise-wide data, voice, wireless, and security systems while ensuring reliable, efficient, and secure network performance. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, requiring the ability to guide a team, manage vendors, develop strategies, and implement best practices to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise network operations staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security systems.

Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistent and secure operations.

Coordinate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service levels meet organizational needs.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Manage budgets, forecast resource needs, and control expenditures for the network operations function.

Direct and support multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

Implement and maintain best practices in network security, risk management, and disaster recovery.

Provide technical guidance in network architecture, planning, and upgrades.

Foster a strong customer service approach within the IT team to ensure high-quality support.

Qualifications and Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience managing mid-to-large scale enterprise networks, including daily operations, planning, and risk management.

2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong understanding of LAN / WAN administration, enterprise networking, and network security principles.

Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of current IT trends, security practices, and industry best practices.

Relevant industry certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar) are preferred.

The Pay Rate range for this position is $55.00 – $69.00 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
