OBGYN opening - Washington, PA Located 30m to Pittsburgh Will join hospital owned practice currently comprised of 6 OB / GYNs and 3 CRNPs Position Details :

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Employed
  • Hospital-owned practice
  • Not for profit community hospital
  • Replace departing physician
  • Inpatient / outpatient
  • Recently renovated CARE Center for Family Birth and Womens Health features 13 private postpartum and recovery rooms for obstetric patients and patients who have gynecologic surgery.
  • Birth center also includes five labor and delivery suites, a surgical delivery room, and a nursery with a Level 2 special care area for infants with special medical needs.
  • Approximately 60-75 deliveries per month.
  • Outpatient Coverage typically sees 30-40 patients per day in clinic
  • Call Schedule : 1 : 6 nights and weekends - when on call the physician spends the day in the hospital with the day following call off.
  • Fairly even split for OB and GYN
  • Hospital has da Vinci Surgical System
  • Competitive Salary based on experience, student loan repayment option available

  • These are academic medical practices - a three-year training program for family medicine physicians and 2 fellowships in Hospice & Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics.
  • Full-time, board-certified physicians are on staff at each center and supervise the resident physicians.
