Join Our Team as a Urologist in Beautiful Brattleboro, VT! Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) is a community-focused, not-for-profit hospital situated in the scenic southern region of Vermont. We are actively seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to become a vital part of our collaborative team. This unique opportunity allows you to provide high-quality care in a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art surgical suites, all while enjoying a balanced schedule and the exceptional quality of life that Vermont offers. Job Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients. Deliver care in outpatient clinic settings as well as inpatient hospital settings. Collaborate with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner in a single-site practice. Perform surgical procedures in new, state-of-the-art operating rooms. Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department. Participate in a light on-call rotation, covering one hospital site for 7 days per month with a 1 : 4 call schedule. No involvement in trauma cases or robotic surgeries. Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentation. Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Manage an average of patients per day. Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Consideration for new graduates and candidates with lapsed board certification (if willing to recertify). Note : Not open to long-distance commuters or alternative shift arrangements. Qualifications : Board certified or board eligible in Urology. Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada. Clean malpractice history. Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start). License and Certification Requirements : Must have passed the certification exam administered by the American Board of Urology (ABU). DEA certification. BLS certification.
