Milton & King is an Australian lifestyle brand that manufactures on-demand, on-trend, highly curated, and globally designed wallpapers. Our business is in an exciting expansion phase with operations in the UK, EUR, and the US.

We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Large-Forma Print Operator for our Dallas Design District luxury wallpaper production facility. Experience with EFI superwide roll-to-roll UV LED inkjet printers is mandatory.

This position will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end production process of large-format printing and order dispatch. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Perform routine maintenance according to schedule specifications and company procedures.
  • Set-up, format, and RIP digital files for print production. (Pre-press).
  • Expertly operate our digital large-format digital printers and trimmers (HP Latex 3600, EFI Vutek Q3r, Fotoba Trimmer).
  • Assemble, collate, and finish print orders per product specifications and / or custom print requests.
  • Dispatch print orders and associated print production administration using ShipStation and DHL platforms.
  • Warehouse packaging management and organization of production supplies.
  • Phone and online customer service as required.
  • Ensure all print orders are completed on-time, without error or poor print quality.
  • Maximize daily print run-time efficiency to guarantee all orders are printed and dispatched on-time.
  • Maintain strict printer color profiles and continual print quality control (QC).
  • Enhance the overall reputation and goodwill of Milton & King both inside and outside business hours.
  • Participate in weekly Microsolft Teams meetings and daily use of Microsoft Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • Use the appropriate colors, profiles, templates, settings, and layouts for each print file.
  • Test-print design files across various media as new products roll out.

The ideal candidate, along with being personable and well-spoken, will have the following skills :

  • Exceptional eye for detail. (i.e. Spots subtle color, clarity and texture differences in various prints and digital files).
  • Advanced problem-solving and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn proactively and with a quick reaction time.
  • A positive, team-centered mindset with high energy.
  • Demonstrates integrity, high self-standards and pride in produced work.
  • History of reliability, collaboration, positivity and superior performance.
  • Advanced IT skills and large-format printer knowledge.
  • Willingness to quickly adapt and perform under pressure.
  • Technically & mechanically oriented and operates commercial finishing and binding equipment with ease.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Can work standing for up to 12 hours per day and bend, lift, and carry heavy items up to 50lbs.
  • Both warehouse and customer-facing work experience preferred.

    Hours : Monday-Friday from 10 : 00am-7 : 00pm. Shifts may start earlier and / or later depending on production volume.

  • Must pass a drug screen and ongoing random drug testing.
