Job Description
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I, internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I. The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD / PRN as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to) :
- Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed
- Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations
- Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
