Overview

Ethos is looking to hire a full time, experienced Insurance SIU / Claims Field Investigator in the Pensacola, FL area.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct recorded statements / interviews, accident scene investigations, online research, and witness canvassing.
  • Recognize compensability issues, misrepresentation, and how insurance coverage pertains to claims decisions.
  • Identify red flags and conduct a thorough investigation, performing due diligence as needed.

Experience

  • Previous SIU experience with an insurance carrier or investigative firm.
  • Former military or law enforcement.
  • Two years' experience in property loss investigations (or adjusting) including theft, fire, water, wind and vandalism losses.

    • Licences / Certifications / Insurance

  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • May require Notary.

    • Skills

  • Strong computer and internet skills; strong verbal and written communication; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; attentive listening; high attention to detail; persistent and organized.

    • Required Equipment

  • Own a well-maintained vehicle, a Windows-based laptop, cell phone, and a reliable internet connection.
  • Own a camera or comparable equipment for photographs and a recording device to obtain statements.

    Compensation

    Salary : $25.00 - $30 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience.
