Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel ICU RN for a 10-bed Critical Care unit at a community hospital in Auburn, NY . This role provides care for critically ill adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases. Flexibility to float to Med / Surg units is required. Charge capability is preferred.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct care to ICU patients, including ventilator management, drips, and monitoring arterial and central lines

Participate in codes and advanced interventions as needed

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care

Document accurately in Allscripts, Paragon, or McKesson

Perform proctored EKG exam on Day 1 of contract

Float to Med / Surg units when needed

Requirements : Active RN license

Minimum 2 years ICU experience required

Travel experience required; charge-capable preferred

BLS and ACLS certification required

AHA NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on stroke-related topics required prior to start

Experience with ventilators : 2 Servo vents, LTVs, Vapotherm, V60 BiPAP

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Unit Notes :

10-bed Critical Care Unit, RN : PT ratio 1 : 2

Shifts : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Occasionally handles pediatric cases

Equipment : Servo vents, LTV vents, Vapotherm, V60 BiPAP
