The Senior Accountant oversees and manages the daily operations of several entities within the corporate accounting department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including month and year-end process, accounts payable / receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity and debt activity.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and support annual audits.
• Suggest improvements to systems and procedures.
• Meet financial accounting objectives and reporting deadlines.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Other projects and duties and assigned.
