Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Location : Fremont, NE, 68025

Duration : Permanent Full Time

Shift : 6 : 45 p.m. - 6 : 45 a.m. (3) nights a week with rotating holiday coverage and every third weekend.

Salary Range : $29.43-$44.15 / hr. + Benefits

Job Description : Education

  • Associate's of Science Degree with certificate in Respiratory Care required.
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care preferred.
  • Experience

  • 3-6 months of on-the-job experience to gain knowledge of hospital policies, procedures and routines required.
  • License / Certifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 12 months of accepting the Advanced Practitioner position required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 18 months of accepting the Advanced Practitioner position required.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP.NE or RCP.IA) license for work state required.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
  • Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred for Respiratory Therapy, Cardiac Unit and Cardiopulmonary Rehab
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification preferred for Cardiac Unit and Cardiopulmonary Rehab.
  • Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

  • Requires a high degree of ability and skill in written and verbal communication to accurately relay appropriate and high quality recommendations to other members of the patient care team.
