Seasoned Commercial HVAC Technician

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician II to join our fast-growing STR Mechanical Team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as an active EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems and / or failures in heating / air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, and food service equipment, identifying equipment and / or systems repair and / or replacement needs with accuracy
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts of existing units according to specifications of 15 tons+
• Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls
• Service and troubleshoot mini-splits and / or replace smaller RTUs and mini-splits for 15 tons or less
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers
• Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered

This position reports to the local Service Manager and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.
