Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Charging System Engineer to lead the design, testing, and integration of DC fast charging systems for Battery Electric Machines (BEM). This role ensures safe, efficient, and standards-compliant operation while supporting cross-functional teams and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and document requirements for BEM charging systems in compliance with UL, ISO, IEC, and other standards.
- Collaborate with BEM teams to ensure seamless charger integration.
- Lead DFMEA, verification and validation planning, and execution of charging system tests.
- Support safety analyses including Hazard Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using lab tools and root cause methodologies.
- Utilize lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal cameras) for detailed analysis.
Required Qualifications :
Master's in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years or Bachelor's with 8+ years of relevant experience.Hands-on experience with charging or converter / inverter product testing.Strong knowledge of DC-DC converters and AC-DC inverters.Proficiency with lab instruments and data acquisition tools.Familiarity with compliance standards (UL, IEC, ISO).Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with automated test systems.Knowledge of EMI / EMC testing, thermal design, and environmental validation.Working experience with CANape and charging systems.
