Postdoctoral Associate

A company is looking for a Post Doc Associate.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate patient samples and develop testing methods for quantifying mechanics in blood clots

Conduct research on blood clot formation, mechanics, and clot stability for NIH funded projects

Support ongoing research within the Tutwiler laboratory

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline

Strong background in rheological testing and viscoelastic properties

Understanding of coagulation and hemostasis

Ability to independently apply scientific theory in research experiments

Capability to interpret and explain the theoretical basis of research work
