Temporary Payroll Clerk LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Scottsdale who is in need of a temporary payroll clerk to join their team for about two months. This is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, fully onsite. The hourly rate is between $24 / hr-$26 / hr.

The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
  • Review timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and discrepancies
  • Assist with data entry and general administrative tasks related to payroll

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Prior experience in payroll or accounting support roles
  • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
