Registered Nurse - Correctional - $58-65 per hour

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse Correctional for a local contract nursing job in Brooktondale, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Correctional Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Facility Overview : MacCormick Secure Center (MSC) is located in Brooktondale, New York. The youth served at MSC are male, adjudicated, juvenile delinquents who are placed with OCFS by Family Court. Depending upon the sentence, youth may remain in OCFS custody until the age of 21. MSC is accredited by the American Correctional Association. Currently, there are no vaccine requirements. Supervision staff will be present when the employee is providing nursing care to youth. Duties and Responsibilities : Maintain inventory standards for medicines, controlled drugs, and narcotics. Review overall health conditions of youth by preparing, reviewing, and evaluating nursing intervention plans to ensure alignment with comprehensive treatment plans. Participate in staff training programs. Prepare clinical and administrative reports. Maintain infection control standards. Function as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
