Job Title : Purchaser / Inventory Control Specialist

Location : Tallahassee, FL

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser / Inventory Control Specialist to manage procurement and inventory for our Tallahassee production facility and field depots. This role ensures timely material availability, maintains inventory accuracy, and manages supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

Process and monitor purchase orders to support production schedules.

Maintain safety stock levels in coordination with Production Manager.

Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.

Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings.

Maintain ERP (NetSuite) records for suppliers and inventory items.

Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate material transport between production and depot locations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

5+ years purchasing experience in a production environment.

Experience with MRP / ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and attention to detail.
