Prep / Line Cook - Reno Sparks Convention Center

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be expected to work in a fast paced environment and be responsible for preparing high-quality meals. The candidate will be expected to come to work when scheduled and on time. This position requires an understanding of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, commercial Kitchen appliances, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You are required to help with dishes. We are a team, everyone does them. Employees get meals, drinks and snacks while working at no charge.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
• Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials.
• Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
