The Opportunity
The Consultant, Marketing Insights & Technology II is responsible for creating and maintaining an infrastructure capable of delivering critical decision support services regarding one or more disciplines to stakeholders throughout the firm in a timely, accessible, and cost-effective manner. Manage marketing research programs, which are focused on creating consumer insights that drive the client experience, employee experience and communication efforts. Conducting custom research that ensures the organization is satisfying client and business stakeholder needs.
The Responsibilities
- Proactively identifies business opportunities and problems that can be beneficially addressed via primary and / or secondary research
- Opens and maintains lines of communication with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy of project scope, sets appropriate expectations, and ensures coordination of efforts across the business
- Develops project plan documents, monitors and communicates progress to stakeholders
- Creates and reviews research output components holistically, including dashboards and reports, in relationship to business objectives, and adjust or reiterate research steps as appropriate
- Summarizes and presents research findings to stakeholders, with an emphasis on goal-setting and the identification of actionable items
- Serves as a subject expert on pertinent data available
- Keeps abreast of best practices within both the financial services and research disciplines, and analytical techniques
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
The Qualifications
3-6 Years ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of research / analytics management experience and preferably financial services experienceKnowledge Of
Marketing and business issues in general, sufficient to fully understand any stakeholder's problem or opportunityDatabases and analytical tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, MS Access, statistical packages, geospatial tools, and relational databases)CX / Survey-related platforms including QualtricsAnalytical and problem-solving techniquesIssues relating to and the proper execution / interpretation of surveys and survey dataSkill In
