  • Charting System : Altera (preferred, not required)

    Minimum 2 years PACU or surgical services experience

    Charge Experience

    Certifications

    BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

    Skills Needed

    Phase I & II PACU, procedural sedation, pediatric PACU, surgical recovery, vented patients, MAC, conscious sedation, pain management

    Travel Experience

    Preferred

    Altera EMR

    Preferred

    License at Submittal

    ✅ Required

    Certification Verification

    ✅ Required at submittal

    📍 Location Restrictions

  • Local Radius Rule :

    • RN / LVN : Must live outside 150 miles

  • Allied / CNA : Must live outside 50 miles
  • Local candidates NOT accepted
  • Return Traveler Rule :

    • Previous perm staff must have been gone at least 1 year to return as traveler

    📝 Required Clinical Skills (Partial list from skills checklist)

  • Phase I / II PACU
  • Care of ventilated patients
  • Conscious / Procedural Sedation
  • Pediatric and adult recovery
  • General, Bariatric, Ortho, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology procedures
  • Robotics, laparoscopic cases
  • Emergency meds, dysrhythmia management
  • Reversal agents, MAC
  • Pain assessment & PCA pumps
  • Starting / maintaining IVs
  • Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
