Joint Ventures Associate – Real Estate

Location : Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

A well-regarded law firm is seeking a mid-level associate (3–6 years of experience) to join its transactional real estate group, with a focus on joint venture formation and structuring. This is a sophisticated practice working with top-tier real estate clients on complex joint venture and investment structures.

What You’ll Be Working On :

Drafting and negotiating complex real estate joint venture agreements

Structuring limited liability company (LLC) and partnership agreements for high-value commercial real estate deals

Supporting real estate transactions involving institutional investors, developers, and sponsors

Advising on governance, capital stacks, exit strategies, and waterfall modeling

What We’re Looking For :

3–6 years of relevant legal experience with real estate joint ventures and fund structures

Strong academic credentials and attention to detail

Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while independently managing key responsibilities

Prior experience at an Am Law or nationally recognized firm preferred

Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar

Compensation :

The expected base salary for this role ranges from $225,000 to $300,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
