About The Position

Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician Profession : Surgical Services Specialty : Sterile Processing Technology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Mid Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum of 3 years in sterile processing. License : Valid state license required. Certifications : Certification in sterile processing is a must. Must-Have : - At least 3 years of experience in sterile processing. - Ability to work Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 11 : 30 PM. - No weekends or holidays required. - Experience with outpatient surgery procedures. - Familiarity with high-level disinfection and sterilization methods. Description : This position is for a sterile processing technician for a 13-week assignment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring surgical instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. The role requires knowledge of proper sterilization techniques and the use of sterilization equipment. The technician must adhere to safety and infection control guidelines. Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential in this environment. The technician will be required to organize medical trays and properly label instruments. Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care are required for success in this position.
