Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Assignment

Location : Norfolk, NE

Our travel nurse staffing agency is currently hiring an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel contract in Norfolk, Nebraska. This role offers petitive pensation, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to expand your career while experiencing a new munity.

Assignment Details :

Travel / contract position

13-week assignment with potential for extension

Full-time schedule; 3640 hours per week

Day and evening shifts with call rotation as required

Start date : ASAP or upon candidate availability

Job Requirements :

Deliver perioperative nursing care including pre-, intra-, and post-operative responsibilities

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures

Monitor patients status throughout surgery and maintain detailed documentation

Maintain sterile field and enforce infection prevention standards

Provide patient and family education on procedures and recovery

Needed Qualifications :

Active RN license in Nebraska or pact license

Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room nursing experience required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)

Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating roles strongly preferred

Strong critical thinking and munication skills
