Missouri Licensed Medical Policy Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Policy Clinical Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct structured research of peer-reviewed literature to support medical policy

Maintain and update existing medical policies and guidelines based on external vendor information

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement medical policy changes and respond to inquiries regarding medical policy

Required Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Licensed RN in Missouri and / or Kansas

3 years of clinical experience

Experience in reading and understanding clinical literature

Certified Coder with AHIMA or AAPC, or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment
