Dewberry is currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician . The applicant must be responsible, highly motivated, and detail-oriented, interested in joining our Site / Civil department in our Danville, VA office. The role involves working with engineers, project managers, and other professionals. Remote work is possible. The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinate daily with key staff, and assist on multiple project designs. Responsibilities focus on design and plan set preparation for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects, including grading, pipe networks, alignments, profiles, sections, and redline drafting for various design stages.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD Civil 3D engineering drawings for permit-ready plans.
• Prepare designs from general instructions, sketches, diagrams, or schematics.
• Create working drawings from conceptual, development, and final engineering plans, as well as construction records.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, administrative staff, and construction teams.
