The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports the construction, repair, and troubleshooting of advanced, highly automated manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The technician will play a key role in equipment assembly, maintenance, and improvement within a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform assembly, setup, testing, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and build equipment to specification.
- Use power tools (saws, drills, grinders, etc.) safely and effectively.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of automated systems.
- Support installation, qualification, and debugging of new equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate issues to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all tasks.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or assembly (e.g., manufacturing, HVAC, construction, automotive).
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand / walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work any shift.
- Experience with automated equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, sensors, and precision assembly.
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and component debugging.
