Required :

Ability to perform all essential job functions satisfactorily.

Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of nursing principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred :

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.

Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting.

Education

Required :

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing.

Preferred :

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications & Licensure

Required :

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as applicable to the assigned unit or specialty.

Preferred :

Specialty certification relevant to the assigned unit or service.
