Location :

  • San Antonio, TX Clearance Required : TS / SCI w / Polygraph Journeyman Operator (Language-Enabled) – SIERRA Geo Owl is seeking highly qualified Language-Enabled, Journeyman Geolocation Operators to join our elite intelligence team in San Antonio, TX.
  • These positions require a unique blend of advanced geolocation skills and demonstrable foreign language proficiency to provide direct mission support for a 24 / 7, 365-day workforce.
  • The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, language capabilities, and proven operational experience to produce actionable intelligence and mentor less experienced operators.
  • Key Responsibilities Conduct direct, on-site, real-time geolocation operations using certified methodologies and technologies.

Apply foreign language proficiency to process, interpret, translate, and analyze intelligence materials.

  • Provide mentoring and proficiency development to less experienced operators.
  • Contribute to the improvement of training resources and tradecraft.
  • Support operational and strategic missions by delivering accurate and timely intelligence reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geolocation and language data into mission operations.
  • Maintain required certifications and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Required Qualifications Current certifications in basic operations and passive geolocation methods and technologies.
  • Collector, Passive, and Search and Survey certifications.
  • Successful completion of the Intermediate (451) or Advanced (452) Signals Analysis course.
  • ILR Level-2 proficiency in a relevant foreign language (e.g., Levantine, Yemeni, Iraqi, Maghrabi, Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Chechen, or Somali).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in language processing competencies such as interpretation, translation, gisting, document analysis, teaching, or other intelligence-related skills.
  • Active TS / SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Desired Qualifications Current or previous experience conducting advanced geolocation operations in a multi-technology, foreign-language environment.
  • Ability and willingness to develop increasingly complex geolocation and language competencies.
  • Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to continually learn and improve.
