Job Title : Risk & Regulatory Specialist

Locations :

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Risk & Regulatory professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, regulatory compliance, and reporting. This role will involve supporting regulatory initiatives, monitoring compliance, and ensuring adherence to internal and external standards across business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on regulatory risks and compliance gaps.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures .
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, mitigate, and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and advise teams on necessary actions.
  • Participate in regulatory inspections, reviews, and audits as required.

    • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or governance .
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to [specific industry, e.g., banking, finance, insurance].
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations (Tampa, FL; Buffalo, NY; Rutherford, NJ) and with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with risk and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, SOX, GDPR, or other industry-specific regulations).
  • Prior experience in a multi-location environment supporting compliance initiatives.
