District will provide training. CDL -

Class B w / air brake, passenger and school

bus endorsement preferred, but not

necessary. Salary starting at $20.46 / hr.

with benefits per the CSEA contract.

A Full-time School Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities. This role requires maintaining a high level of safety, professionalism, and attentiveness while operating a school bus on assigned routes. Drivers ensure students board, ride, and exit the bus safely while following all traffic laws, district policies, and state regulations. Responsibilities include performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and keeping accurate records as required. The driver must maintain good communication with students, parents, and school staff, promoting a positive and respectful environment. Patience, dependability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. A valid commercial drivers license with passenger and school bus endorsements, along with a clean driving record, is required. Full-time drivers are key members of the school community, supporting student safety and punctuality every day.
