Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PACU Nurse Manager to oversee the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on the Day Shift . This is a working manager role, requiring both clinical expertise and leadership in daily operations. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the delivery of high-quality post-anesthesia care while managing staff, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct day-to-day operations of the PACU, including staffing, workflow, and patient care coordination.
• Plan, assign, and monitor staff schedules to ensure effective departmental coverage and maintain productivity goals.
• Review, approve, and support personnel performance appraisals and the establishment of employee goals.
• Develop, update, and implement departmental policies, protocols, and procedure manuals.
• Monitor physical condition of facilities and coordinate necessary corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in departmental Process Improvement initiatives.
• Act as a change agent to support organizational goals and foster a culture of excellence.
• Stay current on clinical and management practices through independent study and continuing education.
• Contribute to departmental budgeting and inventory control.
• Support ongoing professional development for staff and self.

Qualifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS)
