Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

About the Role :

We are seeking a dedicated School Nurse for a school-based assignment in the Newark, NJ area. This is a general nursing position that will provide health services to students and staff at the school site.

Primary Responsibilities :

Conduct school health services, including physical examinations, immunizations, and screenings (hearing and vision).

Maintain up-to-date cumulative health records for all students.

Administer first aid in accordance with established procedures.

Advise teachers and staff on student health matters and best practices for supporting student well-being.

Qualifications :

Current RN license (as required by NJ state regulations).

CPR and First Aid certification.

Experience in school or pediatric nursing preferred, but not required.

Strong munication and organizational skills.

Schedule & Hours :

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Onsite, school-based schedule.
