Share Point Developer

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) seeks to digitize and automate current paper-based records to streamline access to information across the agency.

VDH is digitizing its paper-based records for storage and management in SharePoint. We are looking for a SharePoint Architect to support this digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs.
• Understand and apply records management principles / rules based on individual customer requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach.
• Apply UI / UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance and adherence to VDH design standards.
• Troubleshoot security issues, customer questions, and other inquiries as needed.
• Understand and apply VDH approved standards and processes.
• Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating and managing file plans, and building simple workflows and processes.
• Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines.
• Identify and escalate architecturally significant items that affect development design / approach / solution.
• Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts.
• Facilitate training and education opportunities.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Exam MS-500 : Microsoft 365 Security Administration.
