Job Details

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial insights and projections to support the company's decision-making processes. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and developing financial models to help the retail company achieve its financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in budgeting and forecasting process
Build and maintain financial models utilized for decision support.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Support the finance team in ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
Familiarity with data query / data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects, PowerBI,)

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the retail industry.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
