The Staff Pad has partnered with Russellville Hospital to hire dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses for their Medical / Surgical Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-focused hospital committed to high-quality care and professional growth.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Med-Surg RN, you will play a vital role in providing and coordinating care for patients across the lifespan. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.   • Perform admission assessments, obtain patient histories, and develop care plans.\n

  • Document interventions, patient status, and responses with accuracy and timeliness.\n
  • Provide education and support to patients and families.\n
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.\n
  • Delegate and coordinate nursing care assignments based on patient acuity and staff competencies.\n
  • Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff.\n
  • Actively participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.\n\nQualifications\n
  • Current Alabama RN license (or eligibility for licensure).\n
  • Hospital experience preferred, but not required – new graduates encouraged to apply.\n
  • BLS certification required.\n
