Travel RN Job Details Location : Great Bend, KS 67530 (Kansas healthcare job) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D RN) Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : February 1, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend On-Call : 2-3 on-call shifts per month (not required if working 48-hour weekly contracts) Holiday Coverage : Required Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (3 years preferred) At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred Active Kansas RN license (Registered Nurse license in Kansas) BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required PALS certification required (must be obtained prior to start) Completion of intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including interpreting fetal heart tracings Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum nursing care Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed Float to Medical-Surgical unit for overflow patients as required Participate in on-call rotation and cover holidays as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team in Great Bend, Kansas, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
