We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our vibrant engineering team. This is a permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of our innovative organization that is dedicated to the highest standards in the engineering industry. As a Quality Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the quality of our products and processes meets established standards and regulations. You will be at the forefront of our manufacturing process, helping to drive our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities :
1. Perform regular quality inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 12485, 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 210 / 211, NRC, and other relevant standards.
2. Use precision measuring and test equipment to evaluate product quality and identify deviations.
3. Implement and manage electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) to streamline quality processes and documentation.
4. Conduct statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis to identify and rectify quality issues.
5. Participate actively in Six Sigma projects to improve process efficiency and product quality.
6. Provide technical support to the manufacturing and industrial engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met.
7. Conduct audits and inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements.
8. Use Minitab and JMP software for statistical analysis and data visualization.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the product life cycle, from design and development to production and delivery.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Technician role in the engineering, pharmaceutical, or medical devices industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering.
4. Proficiency in using eQMS, Minitab, JMP, and other relevant software.
5. Experience in conducting audits and inspections, and a solid understanding of ISO 12485, 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 210 / 211, NRC, and other relevant standards.
6. Strong understanding of SPC, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to make informed decisions.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification will be an added advantage.
