Position Summary :

  • Speech Language Pathologist, also called speech therapists, work to assess, diagnose and treat patients with language, cognitive, communication and swallowing disorders.
  • SLP at WRHS will provide services to inpatients, outpatients and other patient populations in which WRHS has entered into a contractual agreement with.
  • This may include public schools, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
  • Some travel may be required.

Excellence in Practice :

  • Evaluating and developing appropriate treatment plans to meet individual’s specific needs.
  • Monitoring a patient’s progress to make sure that they’re successfully completing treatment.
  • Encouraging the patient during their recovery process.
  • Helping patients to improve their quality of life.
  • Updating patient plan of care and home programming to continue to achieve progress.
  • Teaching patients, family member or caregivers the skills and techniques necessary to help with the patient’s treatment program.
  • Essential Job Requirements :

  • Education : Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • PhD is not required.
  • Experience :

  • New graduates acceptable for consideration.
  • License Requirements :

  • Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of ND Powered by JazzHR
