In collaboration with medical providers, the Trauma PCU RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The Trauma PCU RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.\n\nWhat you will do in this role : \n

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.\n
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.\n
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.\n
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.\n
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.\n\nWhat qualifications you will need : \n
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing : Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required\n
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and / or hold an active Compact / Multi-State RN license\n
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required\n
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required\n
• At least 6 months previous RN work experience required\n\nThis is a Full Time, Night Shift position.
