We are seeking qualified candidates to provide in home child care in the Somerset and Morris County areas. We are a company that provides back up care to families in their own homes.
Job Details
- Assignments can range from 4 to 10 hours a day and 3 to 5 days a week.
- Assignments can change from week to week and can be with a variety of families and children
- You may expect to work 15 to 30 hours per week. However, this will depend on your flexibility and willingness to accept the assignments we provide. For example, if you have experience with all ages, are available Mon to Fri all day, and can drive up to 1 hour away for an assignment, you can potentially work more full time hours.
- Availability between Mon to Fri is a must.
Job Duties
Ensure a healthy and safe environmentProvide attention to children’s needs, including engaging and fun activitiesCare for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressingPrepare healthy snacks and mealsEncourage healthy habits and hygiene, and help with toilet trainingPerform light housework, like laundry, dishes, and tidying up toysHelp with homework as neededRequirements
2+ years experience with childcare for all ages from infants to elementary school ageMust have a reliable means of transportation to get to the jobsChildcare providers are expected to be available a minimum of 2-5 weekdays. Mon-Fri availability is preferred and will ensure a greater number of assignments. In addition, being available between the hours of 8am-6pm or 9am-5pm would provide the most opportinities for assignments.Must be dependable and punctualChildcare providers must be able and willing to accept at least 50% of all assignments offered within their respective schedules.CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to become certified)Verifiable work referencesOther Benefits :
