Registered Dietician Travel- Pediatrics / Peds RD

Orange, CA, 92868

26 week contract

Day shift

Job Responsibilities – Clinical Dietitian

Provide age-appropriate, evidence-based pediatric nutrition care.

Apply advanced knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and the nutrition care process.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.

Serve as a nutrition expert for healthcare staff and community providers.

Participate in research, professional presentations, publications, and guideline development.

Contribute to clinical education, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.

Engage in leadership activities within the organization and professional bodies.

Job Requirements

Required Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition related field from an accredited university
  • Maintains a minimum of two (2) advanced practice specialty certifications or a Graduate degree plus one (1) advanced practice certification

Required Certifications

  • National RD Cert (CDR)
  • BLS
  • RD / RDN
  • PEDS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Calorie Counts
  • Enteral Nutrition (tube feedings)
  • Food-Drug interactions
  • Intake and Output
  • Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
  • Develop Plan of Treatment
  • Nutrition Assessments / Reassessments
