Registered Nurse - Med / Surg Tele

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating day and night shifts, 3x12 hours : 7pm-7 : 30am and 7am-7 : 30pm. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting, providing care to patients with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG readings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med / Surg Tele specialty prior to travel assignments.
  • At least 18 months of recent MS / Tele experience; travel experience is acceptable.
  • Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required.
  • Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
  • Successful completion of the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
