Base pay and job highlights

This range is provided by Wynne Transport Service, Inc. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Pay

Up to $0.68 per practical mile (loaded and empty) + supplemental pay. Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska truck drivers needed; no Haz Mat or Tank Endorsement required.

  • Company Driver (W2, Solo)
  • On the road minimum 5 days
  • Home each weekend
  • Dry Bulk Tanker trailer
  • OTR (All 48) and Canada with a passport
  • 2300 to 2,800 average miles per week

    • Hiring requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Class A CDL without certain restrictions (Manual, Air brakes, Night driving, No semi-trailer, Intrastate only, Medical variance)
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • 2 years of recent driving preferred; 12 months minimum experience; 12 months of tractor-trailer in last 5 years; experience with a 36 ft. trailer minimum
  • Must have a valid DOT medical card
  • Pass a urine drug test
  • English proficiency required
  • Eligible to work in the United States

    • Core responsibilities

  • Be available for work to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules
  • Submit customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
  • Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure safety, legality, and security
  • Maintain a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations
