Nocturnist Opening in North Carolina -Located in North Wilkesboro, NC.-Seeking a Nocturnist with training in Internal Medicine / Family Medicine to join our dynamic inpatient team.-130 licensed beds, including a 10-bed skilled nursing unit on campus. What We Have to Offer : -CME Reimbursement : $5000 annually -Comprehensive Benefits Package : includes competitive salary, health, dental, vision, retirement plans and more -Work / Life Balance : Enjoy schedule of 7 nights on / 7 nights off, with 5 shifts off service annually-Relocation Assistance : Receive up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, paid within the first 30 days of employment Position Information : -Full-time, clinical adjunct faculty position -Primarily admitting responsibilities -Perform perioperative management and pre-op risk assessments for orthopedic / surgical patients -Help with floor cross coverage from Virtual Hospitalist group-Strong support from medical and surgical specialties -VCC covers ICU at nights-Respond to Rapid Responses and CODES -Coordinating with Nursing Staff and responding to questions / concerns overnight -Provide appropriate hand-off / sign-out at the conclusion of their shift to the day team -Procedural skills not required -EMR- EPIC Position Requirements : -Graduate of an accredited medical school and ACGME-accepted Internal Medicine / Family Medicine residency program. -Board Eligible or Board Certified in IM / FM. -Active license to practice as physician from NC Medical Board. -BLS / ACLS certification.
