Experience with Mentor Graphics Nucleus real-time OS and low-level drivers / HAL elements. Experience with IMU for motion and ranging / aiming functions. Strong C / C++ experience with hardware bring-up, complex conditional build environment, architecture supporting multiple hardware designs. Experience with BitBucket / Jira toolset along with Visual Code toolchain. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics. 7 years of experience in software engineering using C / C++. Must be a U.S. Citizen (single citizenship). Understanding of various software development lifecycles (waterfall, Agile). Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices. Experience with GPS (M-Code) and Kalman Filter implementation or optimization. Experience in mission-critical / operation-critical environments (C / C++). Introduction
Join our team to lead the full lifecycle development of embedded real-time safety-critical navigational software. This role involves working on solutions defined from requirements, implemented in code, verified in simulation & hardware testing, and certified with government and safety organizations as part of our Aerospace Products.
Responsibilities
- Leading the full lifecycle development of embedded real-time safety-critical navigational software.
- Requirements decomposition and work assignments.
- Sensor management and navigational feature definition and design.
- Software architecture and coding of real-time OS.
- Integration and system activities.
- Unit testing and coordination of external verification and validation activities.
- Factory deployment and support.
- Ability to code in multiple languages.
