HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).

Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members daily.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill production orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely manner.

Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring safety standards and 6S policies are followed.

Communicate continuously with supervisors and team leaders in other departments, and / or shifts, to ensure that resources are deployed effectively.

Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.

Monitor quality of product throughout the production process.

Lead Fast Response Board meetings.

Participate in all Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES

Minimum of three+ years of prior work experience in a production environment supervising or leading other production employees, preferably automotive experience.

Effective communication (verbal and written) and comfortable leading start of shift / Toolbox meetings.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel Outlook, etc) in order to submit daily production reports in Excel.

Proven decision-making skills.

Solid people skills and a positive, outgoing attitude.

Comfortable in a leadership role but also collaborative when interacting with all levels of the organization.

Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Experience with PLEX ERP system is a plus.

Injection molding experience is a plus.

College degree in operations, business or a related field is a plus.
