About The Position

Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician

Profession : Tech

Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : Two (2) years current experience required in large operating room settings. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

License : HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD required.

Certifications : BLS certification may not be required but must be completed through accepted institutions.

Must-Have :

Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Description :

Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.

Perform duties of decontamination, assembly, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments.

Follow established policies and standard work for supporting patient care.

Prioritize tasks as directed by the supervisor or as needed to support patient care.

Document, monitor, and maintain accurate records demonstrating high-level disinfection and sterilization.

Perform other functions as required.
