Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification, MD license, and at least 1 year of experience for night and weekend coverage at an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in an acute care hospital with Level II Trauma designation
  • Work in the CT Scan unit with a focus on radiology and cardiology imaging
  • Average daily caseload is 80-90 scans per 24 hours, divided among techs
  • Shift options include 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 AM on Thursday and Friday, and 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM on Saturday and Sunday
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • No floating to other units or facilities required
  • Uses Cerner and McKesson for charting; prior experience with these systems is not specified
  • No on-call requirements
  • This is a strict no-tobacco facility and candidates must pass a nicotine drug screen
  • Modules completed during orientation and annually through the Relias / Net Learning portal
  • Navy blue scrubs are required
  • Free parking available with badge access
  • Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire
  • Only one request for time off is permitted
  • Locals are accepted at the same bill rate

    • Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Maryland radiography license required; license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Pending state license accepted for consideration
  • Must provide two supervisor references for consideration
