The Identity and Access Management (IAM) work unit manages how users within an organization are assigned identities and how these identities are protected. This includes safeguarding critical applications, data, and systems from unauthorized access, while managing the access rights of individuals both inside and outside the organization. The IAM analyst will be responsible for creating accounts to support LEAP, including Active Directory, CA Service Desk Management, Customer Service Portal, SAVE, CBMS, and Mainframe accounts. The analyst will collaborate closely with the LEAP Business Office, County Security Administrators, and other IAM analysts.
This position involves facilitating identity and access management, ensuring customer requests for security access are fulfilled promptly, providing second-level technical support to the project team, end users, and OIT functional groups. Responsibilities also include ticket management and participation in project meetings. The IAM analyst will manage identities and access within CA Service Desk, Customer Portal (EEM), Active Directory, and Google.
Terms and Conditions : Employment may require additional background checks or screenings during employment with OIT.
Cyber Security : Contract staff must adhere to the Colorado Cyber Security Policies, which outline vendor security controls, reporting, and monitoring requirements.
The IAM unit is responsible for provisioning support, including ticket management, customer service, and applying least privilege principles with security rights, permissions, and groups. Experience with Active Directory, CA Service Desk, and Mainframe is essential. Due to the importance of this role, candidates should possess basic troubleshooting skills in networking and computer systems, be capable of multitasking, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and deliver excellent customer service.
