Nuclear Medicine Technologist / CT / PET -

  • Great opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine tech to sit for the NMTCB(CT) boards, as a student, enrolled with College of Health Professions.
  • Rotating schedule 8-hour day.
  • Occasional overtime.
  • No weekends or call.
  • Location : Syracuse, NY.
  • Great working environment in a PET / CT and SPECT / CT outpatient department at Specialty Services Center.
  • Private office with M-F rotating schedule between the hours of 6am and 5pm.

    • Job Summary :

  • Performs all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET / CT and SPECT / CT outpatient department
  • Calculates, orders, administers and records radioactive isotopes
  • Instructs patients on proper exam preparations
  • Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient.
  • Performs all required quality control procedures
  • Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License, current CPR certification. NO PET experience necessary, will train.

    • Preferred Qualifications : NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT)
